When I was in college, a relative once told me After you graduate, mag-abroad ka. Sayang ang talino mo. Wala kang mapapala sa Pilipinas. Wag ka mag-aasawa ng Pinoy, mag-hihirap ka lang I told her I never plan to work abroad, I just wish to visit some place offshore, but not stay there and try hard to blend just to survive. Now, as I am replaying our recent trip abroad while looking at some workloads that await me (18 quotation requests, 5 bookings, 7 business partnership proposals, 11 web articles to finish, several blog articles to scribe), I cant help but smile and wish a happy and good life for that relative of mine. I am so glad (and proud) I never listened to you. True, it is easy to hate the Philippines, but I tell you, there will never be a place like this. There will never be another place like HOME.
