When i was at work tonight an adorable old man stopped in to get a sub, so made the sub cashed him out and he asked me if i enjoyed the life i was living, i replied saying that i had a few flaws i wish i could fix but that i am trying to make the best life for my son. He then asked me how old i was, how old my son was etc. As i told him i saw complete shock come across his face. I prepared myself to stay calm and hear a lecture about how having a baby young is a bad decision. Suprisingly he didnt lecture me at all. He responded by saying it was good to see such a pretty young lady making the best living she could for her child. He then pulled out his wallet & showed me pictures of his family and his son & daughter. He told me how perfect they were and how he wished he could have them all back. I asked if his wife had passed away and he responded that he was not from oswego and that his wife and two children had died in a car accident. I felt terrible for such a nice old man to have to go through things like this. He then said i know your life might seem a little difficult and i can see pain hidden in your smile but just remember, your showing another life how to survive if anything happens to you, my wife and my children gave me the strength to survive without them and i know they look down on me and smile every single day i wake up.
