When not sticking to your diet-strategy protocol when you know you should and want to but dont -> the counter-intuitive but smart and important thing to do is not to fight with this fact – you know how and what you are supposed to eat – but you do or your don’t do it – don’t fight with yourself over it, or you will lose! Just ask yourself “what is the smartest choice right now?” – just keep asking yourself this question every time you are going to eat a meal off plan – eventually this will have an impact on you. This is called cognitive disruption and it will prevent the usual mental masturbation game of bargaining, justifying, catastrophizing, resisting and so many of the other stinkin thinkin processes that dont help the diet-sabotage situation; but actual fuel it even more.
