When the place of the female folks are really displaced, sincerely we can never have society with egalitarian features. It is no news today that the females are competing with men folks over seeking fortune and it is evident in their famous claim that what a man can do a woman can do better. Well, I am not here to debate that. But for two scenarios which I witnessed in less than three days, hmmmn... I wonder what will be the fate of our mainstream family system if the situations remain, in the nearest future to come. Just about two days ago I witnessed an interview session where a Security Recruiting Agency wanted to recruit for some firms who need securities at their firm. At first, it was amazing that with a very short notice of less that a day to the interview, the agency recorded at least twelve applicants. And you would ask where this Agency is located? At one of the isolated places in Ikorodu. Out of those who applied, eleven females and only a male, I mean just a male graved the interview. What even marvelled me more was that, seven out of the females were way beyond their forties faa. SubhanalLaah. An old woman was so eager to get the job that she even refused to have a seat before she would be called in for assessment. This got me like, if this mothers are still after a SECURITY work, then what is and will be happening to the home which is the primary responsibility of the females. In a similar fashion, as I was returning from an outing today; along Anthony and Ojota area, SubhanalLaah, I saw two mothers, one presumably a fish seller and another (in her late forties I believe) who is also a trader in combat over some kind of issues. It was very saddening that the one with a fish almost dipped a life fish in the mouth of the other. All this in the name of economic equality. SubhanalLaah those who ought to be ensuring that the homes are in good state end up ridiculing themselves over meagre revenue.
