When you take a stand for Jesus. People will get angry. When you take a stand for Jesus. People will walk away. Especially if they dont see Jesus the same way you see Jesus. But you have to decide...you have to choose. You cant please Jesus and people. Many are called...few are chosen...Matthew 22:14 Just because Jesus calls you....doesnt mean He chose you. Because if you are too busy pleasing people....you wont be able to please Jesus. Since I became Apostolic. Since I found TRUTH and started living my life for Jesus...and stopped caring what people thought of me.... People have walked away....and some of my immediate family members have pretty much stopped talking to me. All because what I believe doesnt line up with their theology. Guess what. Jesus doesnt care about your theology...or how many times you have read the Bible...or how many things in the Bible you have memorized....or where you went to college...or what kind of a degree you hold. Jesus died on a cross...and went to hell...and took the keys from satan....and gave them to Peter and told Peter He would back anything Peter preached. And Peter preached the Book of Acts. And Peter did what Jesus told Him to do. It is funny how when you get baptized in the NAME of Jesus Christ...just how much revelation Jesus gives you....and how angry people get because you had the NAME called over you for the remission of your sins.... It is even funnier how angry they get when they find out that you got filled with the Holy Ghost and given new life....and that you spoke in tongues as the Spirit gives you utterance just like Acts 2 teaches. God forbid we actually do what the Bible says...and stop listing to someone teach a man made doctrine of just Accept Jesus and be saved.....which isnt even in the Bible. Even Paul told those men to be rebaptized in the NAME of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins. He commanded them to be filled with the Holy Ghost...and they spoke in tongues. Jesus might be calling people. But if they dont do what the Bible says. ALL of the Bible. Then they arent chosen. But if you choose to follow Jesus. People are going to walk away. People you dearly love. And you have to be ready to let them go. ♥
