Where should I start? Ive been spending the last week in Morocco together with the Ahaddaf quartet. In this trip I got the chance to be treated as a local and as a respected international artist. I couldnt help coming here with a pinch of fear in my belly will they accept where Im coming from? Will they hurt me? Will I be a victim of racism? Etc. Soon enough it hit me - I was the racist one to be nourishing such thoughts. RACISM IS REDUNDANT. Its a fabrication of our conditioned mind. Theres no difference between any of us, we all act out of love or fear, we all want to be heard and cared by our loved ones. We all breath the same air and have similar desires as human beings. Separation happens due to cultural conditioning and fear induced dogmas. I feel so grateful for having the privilege of seeing the world through love and art and not through ignorance and fear. Thank you God, Thank you music, Thank you karma. MUSIC WINS.
