Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Heb 12:1-3 (KJV) ** Lay aside every weight Let’s lay aside, Every Weight And the sin, that so easily get us down And let us Fight on Victorious While we keep our feet on solid ground, Grounded in our Faith in Christ As His Spirit Leads us clearly Into what is good and right Pleasing Our God, so sincerely, There is a Race to Run And It’s, All for God’s Glory So Run your Race in Truth and Patience While Living out, The Gospel story, Keep that weakness, under your control Lay it aside with all the sin as well And as you Love and Serve Our Awesome God You will Please Him, as Time will tell!
