Whether anyone could ever compile The Complete Correspondence of H. P. Lovecraft is certainly debatable: his letters are quite literally scattered across the globe. And yet, every letter, every fragment of a letter can supply some little datum that we did not know before, some little glimpse into Lovecrafts writing, his life, his mind; and who cannot hope that someday these fragments may all be melded together into a massive monument to one of the most interesting and insightful men of his day? - S.
