While I have the time I would like to share my wonder/aweful - TopicsExpress

While I have the time I would like to share my wonder/aweful experience sa mga credit cards... for your future reference folks. FROM BEST TO WORST (best on top) METROBANK and ALLIED/PNB (tied) BPI RCBC Citibank BDO EastWest HSBC I turnover on the average 7 digits annually per card so its not a small amount. HSBC is the absolute worst. I paid off my card 1 (ONE) day after the due date... PENALTY AGAD! Not only did this card not have the sop 3 day grace period; they would not revert the charges after numerous appeals. AVOID THIS SCAM of a card. Eastwest is next. They do have the standard 3 day grace period but after using it for 2 years, I missed out on 1 (ONE) payment due to the floods this year. Even with 3 appeals/requests, they did not reverse the charges. BDO/Citibank/RCBC are pretty even and pretty vanilla. BPI generally gives you more than the 3 day grace period but not a whole lot more than that. Now METROBANK is one of the best, Ive been using mine for a couple of years and not only do they offer the best 50% off deals (Lugang, Wagyu, Kimpura, etc), all you need to do is make 1 (ONE) call and they reverse any charge (assuming may reason na matino siyempre) Allied/PNB naman they extend your due dates automatically (I think), I have missed the due dates a number of times and the only time I was ever charged was when I forgot to pay 1 months worth. So there it is, for whatever that was worth, choose your card wisely hehe. Basta Kupal ang HSBC tsaka EastWest.
