While feeding the feral cats today I was sitting in my car waiting for them to finish so I could put the cat food away. I noticed 3 raccoons go up the huge cedar tree. Looked like the mom and 2 young ones (somewhat grown.) They were like 50 feet up in a the cedar but it freaks the cats out. So I got out of my car and walked over toward the tree where the raccoons were. Then the cats came back to finish eating; they feel safer when I stand guard. The two young raccoons were out on a limb just looking at me. I told them to go eat some slugs or what raccoons eat because they arent getting the cat food. Those faces are so adorable. I pointed my finger at them when I told them they arent getting cat food. The one baby just laid down on the limb and hooked his chin and nose over the edge of the limb looking very dismayed. They may be living in that Cedar tree now because I noticed the one place on the curve around on Banshee had been boarded up where they made a hole in the roof area to live...
