While its calm right, let me take a second to welcome our new followers. Let me also say that were happy to be able to help everyone. The team formed originally going on 7 years ago, and our mission has remained the same despite the tremendous growth weve seen. The team was formed because we realized that the original Rome and Floyd County area (and later we realized the rest of our current coverage area) lies in the middle of a media triangle. Local news markets in Atlanta, Chattanooga, and Birmingham seem to concentrate their weather coverage to their own metro areas. By forming our team and page, the team strives to fill in that coverage gap for everyone affected. We also try to give our coverage a more personal and down to earth touch, as we use all info from official sources, and give you whats relevant to our area. We also are here to use our weather knowledge to help answer your questions when we can. Then of course too, were a full volunteer team. That means that unlike other weather teams and media outlets in our area you see, that try to make a profit off their pages and commercialize them, we are simply here to help keep you informed on the weather as best as we can with our knowledge and training. Again, thanks for everyones support, and its an honor serving everyone.
