While most people against fluoridation fight the battle from a perspective of its toxic affects (which I by the way fully agree with) I do have a different perspective and one that seems to be very much missing; that fluoridating water is a violation of our human rights, specifically Article 21 and Article 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (link attached). Point #2 of Article 21 states (2) Everyone has the right of equal access to public service in his country. (end quote); fluoridating water would deprive us of that right as we now do not have water service but fluoridated water service. It is service to those who want, but dis-service to those who do not want. Article 25 states 1) Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control. Fluoridating water prevents me from having a standard of living ADEQUATE FOR THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF HIMSELF (me)....and with 8000 medical deaths (iatrogenic) in New Zealand per year I do not consider Medical Doctors or DHB capable of determining what is good or bad for health as they are evidently incompetent at their duty. un.org/en/documents/udhr/#atop
