While there is no doubt that many regard Toy Story 3 as the perfect send-off of everybodys favorite animated toy characters in John Lasseter and Lee Unkrichs milestone animated series, Toy Story, we were more than thrilled by the consistent high quality with its follow-up shorts from Partysaurus Rex to last years Halloween special Toy Story of Terror!. With news that the fourth installment of one of the most acclaimed animated series set to return in 2014 with Lasseter back in the director chair, we are confident that the immensely-talented folks at Pixar knew exactly what they are doing and we will not be disappointed. After all, Toy Story is one of the rare occasions where each installments managed to improve tremendously from its predecessors. With all that said and done, 2017 is almost three years away and for those who just cant get enough of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and the rest of the gang, you are in for one hell of a Christmas. Set to air on ABC on 2nd December, Toy Story That Time Forgot is a 22-minute television special in the vein of Toy Story of Terror!. Directed by Steve Purcell, the regular voice cast from the series including Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack, will be back. As fans of the series are well aware of, Christmas is a rather nerve-wrecking holiday for the gang. In the short set in Christmas Day, the Toy Story gang unwittingly stumbled into a set of dinosaur action figures who happen to be dangerously delusional.
