Who said beets cannot be tasty especially the golden ones . I present here golden beet rice made with a mixture of frekkeh and brown rice. For EDians who does not know what is frekkeh can read the below link en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freekeh Recipe Cook a mixture of frekkeh and brown rice together Heat oil crackle cumin and urad dal Add onion, ginger , garlic , green chilly and curry leaves Add grated golden beet and saute well Add turmeric, red chilly powder, coriander powder and salt. You can also change the masalas according to your wish After the masalas are fried enough, add cooked frekkeh to it , season with salt and ;lemon juice.
