Why samaikyandhra movement is so strong? In India, currently there are 20 plus new active demands for new states like Vidarbha, Gorkhaland, Saurastra, Telangana, Coorg, Bodoland etc. All these regions do seek a separate statehood, but the odd one among this list and the only exception is Telangana demand, as they seek Capital City Hyderabad to the new state. The states formed by BJP goverment in 2000; chhattisgarh, jharkhand, uttarakhand had all developed new capitals and didnt seek the well established capital city. I think Samaikyandhra movement is all about Hyderabad. Telangana people have to realize and agree the fact that, Andhraites have made a more-than-significant contribution to the Hyderabad. Hence they should accept to share Hyderabad as common capital permanently.
