Why some folks will not come back to The Whitestone Country Inn Long time friends from West Tennessee came for the first time to celebrate their anniversary. They seemed to enjoy their stay. They complimented the food and we reminisced about days gone by. When they finished breakfast, she went to the room to pack, He came in the Farmhouse office and sat down across from me. This will be our first and last visit to Whitestone. I was shocked. Did we do something wrong? Oh no! Everything at Whitestone was great. I was even more puzzled. So why wont you come back? Its the location. Whitestone is on a dead end road in a wildlife refuge. My wife cant sleep because its so quiet. Her idea of a vacation revolves around shopping. She spent 2 hours in your gift shop and then she didnt know what to do. Did you see the video on 25 things to do at Whitestone? Yes but there is no where to shop.Its 35 miles to a mall. I am very sorry but she says Whitestone is just not for her. I hope you and Jean will come and visit us in West Tennessee. I guess Whitestone is not A Sanctuary For The Soul for everybodys soul. If you just want to go shopping in a mall try the Hampton Inn in Farragut Tn. 865 966 0303. Its right next to Turkey Creek Shopping area and not far from West Town Mall But if your concept of a romantic getaway doesnt involve a nearby mall, we might be the right place for you. Paul.
