Will there be professional actors in the future? If you are a future professional in any field, then chase it but be sure you are not sold a bill of goods, and do not work forever for low or no pay...set your standards and look seriously at things like paying bills with your art and craft, having insurance, sending your kids to college... There are many of us in every town to help you learn from beginner to working professional...and anyone worth their salt will encourge you to be professional and gear your work toward both art and your own livelihood. There will always be stars, but what about working professional actors, voice artists, singer, musicians, directors, writer and creative professionals who need to earn enough to feed and house their families, have insurance and pursue the Ameircan Dream. All of you who are wanna-bes or who buy into this quick and dirty glamorous creative field sale pitch....think of those who you are stealing money and food from their mouths, and those who truly study and live their dream and craft not for a few months, but for years and decades. If you are serious...then study.
