William F. Buckley taught a nation how to think and discuss, fearlessly. One can agree or disagree with any point or position he took, and yet still have nothing but admiration re: how he went about the process. Plus the pure joy of having ones vocabulary playfully and brilliantly enlarged every few sentences.
