Windows are an important part of home design, they have an influence on the lighting and shape of a room. Windows capture views and make the connection between the indoors and the natural world beyond. When they are in the wrong place, their significance becomes clearer. The living room usually has the largest window in house as this is usually the biggest/most used room but you should go with what you think - are the views worthy of a big window or would a few small ones be better? You dining room need a lot of thought in terms of windows, it is probably used in the evening so a giant window may not be needed.
