Woman dies in road accident A 26 year old woman is believed to be the country’s latest road fatality. Police say the woman was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a 30 year old man of Nadi, who allegedly lost control of his car causing it to hit the left side of an on-coming four wheel drive. The incident occurred at around 1.30pm along the Queens Road, Wamalika near the School of Agriculture, Nadi. The woman was conveyed to the Nadi Hospital and later died. The 30 year old driver is admitted in hospital and is yet to be questioned. The driver and passenger of the four wheel drive are also admitted at the Nadi Hospital as investigations continue. The road death toll currently stands at 13 compared to 11 for the same period last year
