Women Seafarers Health Survey by ISWAN. ISWAN is currently investigating whether the health information and services available to seafarers address the needs of both men and women. Our preliminary pilot questionnaire and other research has given us some insight into areas which can be improved and we are now distributing another survey to gather as much information as possible. The survey will be running for around 3 months and we would like to reach approximately 500 women seafarer participants. A number of focus group discussions will also be led with women seafarers of different nationalities in addition to the survey. It would be a great help if you could tell women seafarers about the survey and encourage them to complete it.
