Woodside PUMPKIN FESTIVAL! Saturday and Sunday Oct 18 & Oct 19 Why Go Over the Hill for your Pumpkins? October is a time for the annual trek to get the Halloween pumpkins. It is an event that allows parents to enjoy quality time with the family. Avoid the October 92 nightmare. 1-2 hours over the hill and 1-2 hours back. Spend the time strolling under oak trees to one of the many activities at the Woodside Pumpkin Festival. Enjoy the time with your family not Stop-and-Go on the road. The Woodside Pumpkin Festival is sponsored by the Mounted Patrol of San Mateo County. The event is put on here in beautiful Woodside on 23 acres totally shaded by oak trees. Rather than driving over the hill to Half Moon Bay, you now have an option that is actually better than the other side of the hill. No need to drive 1-2 hours there and another 1-2 hours back. Enjoy everything on this side of the hill and spend the extra 2-4 hours relaxing and enjoying the family. WHAT CAN YOU DO HERE? Giant Bouncy Houses Pony Rides Petting Zoo (10:00-3:00 Daily) Haunted House (1-4) daily Photo stations Carriage rides Sunday Oct19 10-2 Vaulting demonstrations Food – Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Pulled Pork, Nachos Drinks – Roger Waters, Soda, Beer, Wine THE HAUNTED HOUSE is not for the faint of heart. It is a real haunted house. It is not advised for the youngsters. However, parents that want to show how brave they are can walk through the tunnel to the chamber of horrors. (1-4 Only) The Pony Rides (All Day) are loads of fun. THE PETTING ZOO INCLUDES: Pony cart rides Face painting Balloon animals Small magic show Labrodoodle tricks Games Two cute performing witches! BOUNCY HOUSES There are 3 Giant Bouncy Houses. Your children will have a ball. Stroll down the path under the oak trees to the bouncy houses in the lower arena.
