The company performed this feat four times over the weekend, and even repeated it three times in one day! Through all this, at some point you might expect some wavering performances, some missteps, some quiverings of tired arms and legs; but it didn’t happen. All their strings were stretched in perfect tune, all the time. I lived in New York City for many years, and have seen performances by the world’s greatest dance companies at first hand. These performances by Ballet Philippines need not take second place to any of them. This Company is on a level with the best there is.
