World Cup Predictions: just for the sheer hell of it. It’s a pattern at World Cups that teams that start out fast tend to fade, while the winner starts out slow. If that remains true this time around its bad news for Netherlands, France and Germany. Good news for Argentina and Belgium – the latter has won all 3 games but haven’t yet played to their full ability, Brazil vs. Chile. BRAZIL to just scrape by. But I wouldn’t rule out CHILE causing a major shock. They are disciplined and play like a real team. Netherland vs. Mexico: NETHERLANDS to win pretty handily. Colombia vs. Uruguay: COLOMBIA to overcome a Uruguay without Suarez. Costa Rica vs. Greece. COSTA RICA (surprise of the tournament) to advance by beating Greece -- one of weaker teams left/ France vs. Nigeria: FRANCE to win a close one but for some reason I just think they could come unstuck against Nigeria. Switzerland vs. Argentina: ARGENTINA for the win. I just think they will step up a gear and even without Aguero they have potent scoring power, including some guy called Messi. Germany vs. Algeria: GERMANY to just get by the Algerian side that play as a unit and run forever. Belgium vs. USA: Heart hopes for US victory by I pick BELGIUM to win. If both play to their full capacity Belgium will prevail. They have key players like Kompany, Hazard, a rejuvenated Fellaini, and a great young prospect in Origi. Lukaka has to come to life at some point and they have Januzaj in waiting. Dembele if he plays and hits form could be a handful. Still tipping Argentina to win the whole thing.
