World Overcomer “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” 1John 4:4 The scripture says in 2 Corinthians 5:17 that “if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away and all things are become new”. It also says that whosoever is born of God, overcometh the world and everyone that is a believer is born of God. 1 John 5:4-5 says you have overcome the world, in other words, you rule over the world system. Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world, so the will of God is that whenever you find yourself, no matter the situation, you should never come to a point in our Christian experience where we are overwhelmed by challenges from the pit of hell, you should always know what to do. Child of God, could you imagine Jesus not knowing what to do? Was there any situation in which He was confronted that He did not know what to do? Was there an occasion where He was confused? No, you cannot, find that in the scriptures, Jesus always knew what to do. When it was time to feed the five thousand in the wilderness, he said; give it to them to eat. What Jesus is trying to say is that when you come to me, the days of being overwhelmed are over. When you have yoked with me, you cannot but overcome your challenges. You cannot but overcome every situation that confronts you, because it is already settled. He always knew what to do. Jesus refused to be overwhelmed by the challenge of feeding 5000 men including women. He said to His disciples, make the men sit down, and let me show you how to take charge. Then He said how many loaves do you have? They said five loaves. He took the five loaves and blessed it, gave it back to them and said give it to the people, and they distributed; of course you know the story. By the time they were through there were twelve baskets left over, see your God, they were not only fed, but they had extra. Today, My God will give you extra, He will do extra for you. Ephesians 3:20 says “God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us”. This will be your portion in Jesus name.
