How could there be a middle class without minimum wage laws? How could there be a middle class without the right to bargain for wages, and working conditions? What achievements of unions would the anti-union side want to get rid of: Child labor laws, weekends, overtime after 40 hours, work safety laws, workers compensation, disability, unemployment insurance, or lunch breaks. All of those things would not exist without unions, not one of them. Yes, even weekends, they were created by the evil labor unions. Without unions, what group will stand up for these laws? Answer? NONE!
