Wow! Is all I can utter this morning, after the stonking final of the Misty Moon International Film Festival Halloween Special. We had everything from a host of famous actresses including Rutanya Alda, Francoise Pascal, Madeline Smith, Caroline Munro, Sally Geeson, We had some fantastic films, plenty of fancy dress costumes, the odd drink or two, and a special film premier starring Caroline Munro as the Land Lady! We had Michael Barber as our great MC!. We also had a special film featuring Diane Franklin and some of her talented family! Then we had some great live blues music to put us all in a mellow mood, as if we needed to get more mellow! Congtats to the winning film Jack Attack and all the runners up. Congrats also to my hardworking son, Matthew Gaffen, who entered a great music video featuring his band Hearse Pileup! His film did not reach the final, but recieved favorable comments from both Rutanya Alda and Eileen Dietz no less! (Do I sound lke a proud father or what!). Lastly I would like to congratulate Jen (aka Sequined Moon), and Stuart for all their hard work in putting on such a brilliant festival. It really was a special night! I took many photographs trying to capture a fraction of what went on, I will try to post some of them throughout the day!
