Wow, that was a great weekend. Congratulations to all the Marathon School members and the entire intraining running team. You were awesome and we all experienced a sea of emotions. Personally for me to be waiting nervously for my wife at the 32k mark was the most nervous and emotional I have been for many years. The longer I waited the more nervous and concerned I became. As many of you know she had two big falls in the one week at training so you can understand my anxiety when she didn’t appear quite when I expected. I cant tell you the sheer relief and excitement I experienced when I spotted her in the distance at 32k. Fortunately the sunglasses hid my teary eyes. Anyway, thats my story and apologies for my self-indulgence. What I really want is to hear your story, the good, the bad and the ugly. Dont be shy. And dont forget the Awards Night next Friday night; make sure you get your tickets this week.
