Wow, this is interesting.... Theres an epidemic out there that is increasing that haunts our medical system, and the sad thing about that living in Hawaii, especially on the Big Island some of you would agree its EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO FIND A REALLY GOOD DOCTOR, Not to mention someone that ACCEPTS your MEDICAL INSURANCE and is ACTUALLY ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS. I for one, have had this problem dealing with my husbands PAIN MANAGEMENT & TRAUMA INJURIES. My family has been really fortunate that during that hard period in our lives, we had some of the BEST QUEENS MEDICAL DOCTORS to save and heal my husband, its sad that those wonderful humans who take on some of the most major life changing situations are pushed to such BURNT OUT PRESSURE POINTS. Here in Hilo, we all suffer from the lack of physicians. and that affects each one of us, from our children to our elders. That is why its SO MUCH MORE IMPORTANT NOW TO TAKE MATTERS INTO YOUR OWN HANDS AND START TO TAKE BETTER CARE OF YOURSELVES. Insurance companies are now supporting more of a PREVENTIVE HEALTH CARE APPROACH, and some of you may have a medical plan that offers gym memberships and personal training services that is included, depending on your plan type. And others of you just cant afford it, and your insurance dont cover anything close. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THIS, ITS NOT OUR DOCTORS RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP US HEALTHY, ITS OURS, ITS THEIR JOB TO DO THEIR BEST TO HELP US HELP OURSELVES. The first defense is you TAKING CARE OF YOUR HEALTH. Everyone has their breaking point, and we cant blame them for walking away.
