Wow, what a day!!! What started out as a slow and dragging day, turned out to be a really good day! I sold many ribbons for the Susan G. Komen walk and also managed to walk over three miles, while doing it! That is what I call, multitasking !! Really starting to enjoy these walks. Also donations are starting to come in online and I have verbal pledges, on others. I am going to have to change the amount of my goal soon!! I really want to raise a TON of funds!! 75% of the money raised, stays right here in Tulsa, to help the underprivileged, to get mammograms, education and treatment. Things these women, would not otherwise have access to! Possibly taking lives, that could have been prevented! Many of us are so blessed in life!! We may not have a lot, but I think we can always dig in and find the love to give to others!! This cause is very close to my heart!! I love my Aunt Mary, nearly five years ago. I loved her dearly and she is sorely missed, EVERYDAY!!! Not only by me, but her 5 kids and many grand kids!! And her other nieces, and nephews. She was a loving and truly caring Aunt!! I also have a friend, that I have recently had the privilege to know, that is currently fighting this horrid disease. Nancy Turner, you are a strong, loving and amazing woman!! And for a mother and daughter, who are dear to one of my very best friends. I have never got to meet them in person, but feel like I know them, through the blog, that Kim (who is an amazing friend as well) is keeping. Erin and Claire, I know you two, have had a long and hard year. You are, truly two amazing and wonderful women, with loads of courage and deterioration!! I am glad I can be doing this for you!!! I am stoked and so proud to be able to do this, in the honor of EACH and EVERY ONE of YOU!!!! Those reading this, share if you would like.
