Wriggling with happiness: SPRINGTIME PLEASURES has received a number of very fine reviews on Amazon in the past few days: Valerie calls the novel a delightful Regency and writes: Springtime Pleasures is a delightful romp through the Regency ton [...]. Charlie is an engaging heroine who reminds me of Mary Baloghs Daisy in Lady With a Black Umbrella who tries to do the best with not always the best results and Baloghs Cora in The Famous Heroine who is a forthright fish out of water in a society obsessed with style and appearance over substance. If you miss those traditional Signet Regencies, then Springtime Pleasures is a book for you. (5-star review) Mel from Bookworm2bookworm Blog writes: If I was given one word to describe `Springtime Pleasures I would choose `cute, but Im so glad not to have to choose only one word because this is one of those books that will have you smile long after youre done reading it. [...] What I loved the most about this read were the letters of correspondence between our heroine and multiple secondary characters, such as her best friend from the academy, Emma; her heros sister, Isabella and heros Aunt and his father. They were having me in stitches laughing! (4-star review) Making readers happy = BEST THING EVER!!!! :-) Val & Mel, thank you so much for leaving reviews on Amazon!
