YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE YOUR SAY ON THE FORREST REVIEW Kimberley Grande, Kimberley Room 10:45am-12:45pm, Tuesday 19 August 2014 The Australian Government has received the report from Mr Andrew Forrest following his review of Indigenous training and employment programmes. It contains wide ranging recommendations on how we can create parity between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. The Government is now considering the 27 recommendations made in the report. An integral part of this process is finding out what people think about the overall direction of the report. This is why we are inviting direct feedback from Indigenous Australians, the broader community and all interested stakeholders. This feedback will be taken into consideration before the Government responds to the Forrest recommendations. To give you an opportunity to share your views, you are invited to participate in a public meeting at the Kimberley Grande, Kimberley Room on Tuesday 19 August 2014 from 10.45am until 12.45pm. The meeting is being hosted by the Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister, Mr Alan Tudge MP.
