Yeh so....theres all these fb groups for parents of new Citadel students and I joined two, Parents of Class of 2018 and the Citadel November group and theyre pretty good, but some of the other groups are pretty intense. I really think its best if I just dont look at stuff for a while, because I guess some of the new parents get all freaked out about all that stuff they do with the new knobs and post stuff about it and then get everyone else all upset......crazy. The truth is, I dont get all that military yelling and screaming stuff, but Im a girl....like a girly girl, Im not supposed to get it. So its probably best if I just let them do their thing, let Grayson do his thing, Ill do my thing, trust the Citadel, and most importantly trust God. Its what Grayson wanted, so that means its what I want.... I dont make a practice of giving advice, but to any new knob parents, or really any new college freshman parents, I know its hard....BELIEVE me, I KNOW its hard, (good Lord I cried all the way there and all the way back!) but itll be ok and theyll be ok, and well be ok. Pray for them, pray for the schools, pray for the teachers; well blink and the next thing you know, well all be saying to each other, remember when.....??
