Yes I did, and it was in Aucklands Tepid Baths, and just over 4k but this is about the Samoa Swim Series and the Pacific Open Water Challenge which I returned from last week. What a fantastic event and amazing excuse for a holiday. Twelve months ago I turned up at the event knowing no-one, and this year it was like being welcomed into a big swimming family. Samoan hospitality is legendary, the event is well organized, and there is a great range of accommodation and entertainment on offer to suit all budgets. I did my first 10k (very slowly) a 5k and 3x 4k, in beautiful warm water. My eight year old daughter took part in the two kids swims too.
