Yesterday, I was honored to be named by Mayor Marty Walsh to his Mayors Housing Taskforce. I am humbled by the confidence the Mayor has placed in me to serve in this capacity on the incredibly important issue of housing in the City of Boston. I look forward to working with my fellow committee members as we work together to execute our charge to lay out strategic and measurable goals for meeting all of Bostons housing challenges, with special focus on innovative housing models; controlling development costs; senior and low income housing; and incentivizing private developers to meet the needs of the middle class. As the Mayor stated yesterday, Whether young or old, individuals or families, low-income or middle class, all of Bostons residents need and deserve access to quality housing. Thank you Mr. Mayor for this opportunity to serve and for your continued commitment to building a brighter future in Boston for all its residents.
