Yesterday Lane had a book fair so I sent $20 for him to buy books. So I pick him up after school and he shows me everything hes bought. 2 books, a bookmark, pen and ball and when I ask did you have any change left, he tells me fully expecting to get in trouble: Yes, I had $5 left but I gave it to a boy who only had $2. I got upset at first because I thought maybe he was bullied (yes Im over protective) but when he said he felt bad for him, my heart melted a little. Even if we dont feel like were doing this parenting thing right, Lanes teaching us how to. We have a good kid Nailuj Nnyw. Mommy bragging done now! :)
