Yesterday and today we have distributed 45 customized wheelchairs to recipients from the different corners of Panay. Thank you so much to the Latter Day Saint Charities, Physicians for Peace - Philippines and the Philippine Army (301st Implementor Bayanihan Brigade, 82nd Bantay Laya Battalion, 61st Infantry Hunter Troopers Battalion) and to all our other partner who made the event successful. The story of a wheelchair and its new owner will surely inspire me to continue serving as instrument to link those in need and to those who are willing to help. I see this project to be moving onward (God willing) as new sets of beneficiaries were assessed today in Tubungan and Cabatuan, Iloilo. I wish to extend my gratitude to BGen Arnold Quiapo, Dr. Josephine Bundoc, Harvey Keh (KN), Mayor Mike Gorriceta (Pavia), Mayor Ronilo Caspe (Cabatuan), Councilor Noemi Caballero-Lujan, Bryan Ramos, Mr Mario Abaygar (Association of Disabled Persons Inc.) and Msgr Meliton Oso (Tubungan) for facilitating/hosting/assisting the activity.
