Yesterday at Macie Claires urology appt the Dr said that she has overactive bladder syndrome. He said it is common in kids age 3-10 but could be caused by her CP and PVL. We will start a medicine tomorrow morning to see if it helps relax her bladder so she doesnt feel the urge to go potty so frequently. Today, Macie Claire received 2 Botox shots in both adductor muscles (top inner thigh), 1 in her right hamstring and 1 in her right calf muscle. This should help with her tone issues caused by her Cerebral Palsy and PVL. We are hoping the Botox and therapy combo can correct the gait she has started to form due to her right knee drawing inwards. Please keep her in your prayers as we do some super stretching/strengthening therapy over the next 3-4 months! 🙏
