Yesterdays game was cancelled due to pitch markings ,,all though the council marked pitch Friday rain over nite washed some areas of pitch, the photos of sidelines are there for all to see and were ok,,when standing on halfway line the 18yard box was not visible which is what the referee asked us too look at,so he told us game was to be cancelled,, the penalty area is not clear to see 30 yards out let alone the halfway line ,so you can see the refs point when it comes to a vital area of the pitch,, if there is a decision to be made around that part of the pitch you can imagine the up roar if the refs not sure because he cant see lines clearly,,, players moan enough when throw ins go against them so you can understand why a ref would not play a game if he clearly cannot see important parts of the pitch, I think in future we should let away sides travel to us and then let the ref tell them the games off so we can all waste our time,,, just for the record we had strong side available due to the swans playing away,,, not sure that will be the case next week so it hasnt done ponthenri any favours having game cancelled.
