Yet another reason to love Old Havana Sandwich Shop: Their owner tells us, For a while now at Old Havana, weve been asking our take-out customers if they want a plastic bag (this is for people who order plates and the boxes are too big for paper bags). Ive been pleased to see that sometimes as many as 1/3 refuse the bag! We do the same in asking if they need utensils. And again, frequently they reject the utensils. So asking really does help. Its a super easy, simple thing for a restaurant to do as it takes no extra work and saves us significantly.
