You guys. Oh my heart. Today was hard. Cameron and I were on one crystal mound digging and Piper was on another. That girl is tough and strong. When I heard her scream, I knew. I knew it wasnt good. We took off running down the rock hill to get to her but all we could see was blood running down her head. It took us well over a minute to get there. That cut was so deep and she was horrified screaming, Im going to die! Cameron rushed her down the rock hill while I ran down with the others. Oh those boys were absolutely terrified. Terrified for her. It looked awful. Joleigh was trying to find her spoon. Thats a whole other story;) As horrific as a scene as it all was, there sure are memorable moments that I will never not laugh and smile about. NObody lives life like Parker. Nobody. That boy is just full on amazing. He is excited about everything and loves to give like no other. His heart is just stitched outside of himself. While Cameron is rushing Piper to the van, Park is at the top of another crystal mound screaming out in pain for Piper. I mean screaming out for her. He was so so scared. Oh I love that boy. We have laughed and laughed about that bc we were just trying to get her to the ER (which was 40 min away:/) and hes screaming at the top of a mountain. I told Cameron it was like he was Abraham screaming in anguish about sacrificing Isaac. Oh that boy. There is no one quite like him. We had some good talks while racing to the hospital and on the way home. We discussed just how good God is. Even if the outcome had been entirely different. We know and trust His goodness.
