You know I just dont get it. When I have a fundraiser I try to make it affordable so everyone can come. I have mine at Venus Pizza at my friend Senator Leo Raptakisiss restaurant. This way I also support a friend in process. The food is great and the ticket price is $20 per person. People come out and have a great time in process. Something for everyone if they want to come. Its a celebration of food and happiness . And its affordable. Like US Senators Jack Reeds annual breakfast. $25 per person for breakfast. Every one can attend and have a great time. In 1996 President Bill Clinton to R.I. He invited everyone to a rally in Providence. Tickets were free! Everyone had a great time . I had my son Mike on my shoulders and the President saw him and waived to him. That moment was televised! It was awesome!!! Last night President Obama came to R.I. His fundraiser was in Newport. The elite had to pay $15,000-32,000 to attend. Whats the point ? To show the wealthy they have control of the democratic party ? That sums it up for me. Bill Clinton was a President for the masses. Obama appears to be a President for elite or 1%. But I will remain a democrat due to folks like Leo Raptakis and Jack Reed.
