You know that young children like to play, and this is how they learn about the roles they will eventually take as they grow older. Relating to this, I have learned that play therapy is good for the child. When a young child has anxious, fearful or upsetting feelings she or he can engage with feelings through play. I find that children can express themselves through play-- and play therapy.
