You must. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have - TopicsExpress

You must. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 1John 4:17-18 (KJV) 5-10-15-20-25-30-35-40....deep breath and I begin to count again. When fear and anxiety grip me I find myself under the covers with my eyes closed shut while breathing and counting. Crying out to God to deliver me from this fear and to quiet my soul. Desperate for peace. Feeling the presence of fear so much so that it feels as though it is right there in the room with me, tormenting me with thoughts of who I am not and what I cant do. It is a living nightmare. What does God do? Does He rush in like a knight in shining armor and speak a word that causes the enemy and all of his demonic forces to flee? No. He doesnt. In every instance, He speaks to me and tells me, My grace is sufficient for you. You can do it. Stand and speak. Walk in your authority I have given You. Speak daughter. To which I respond, But I cant. He says, You must. Then I do what He tells me and speak, and every terrorizing spirit of fear and dread leaves me immediately. When fear grips you, you have a choice to make. You can either let fear overtake you or you can open your mouth and rebuke it. God is mighty and is a very present help in our time of need, but He can do nothing unless we open our mouths and speak His word. He is present to deliver you and give you peace that surpasses understanding, but you must do your part. No one can do it for you. You must learn to use Gods word to fight and war. Command evil spirits to loosen their grip on you, and they will. At the root of all fear is doubt of Gods love. God loves you and He will never leave you. No matter what youve done, God loves you and He will never leave you. No matter what they did, God loves you and He will never leave you. Prayer: My God. Thank You for showing me how to walk this thing out. Satan I bind you and I command the spirit of fear and anxiety to leave me now in Jesus name. Lord I receive by faith Your peace and joy right now. I come against every panic attack and command them to cease. I declare I am free and whom the Son has set free is free indeed. In Jesus name, Amen. DOK Devotional
