In last one year, this movement under the name of India Against Corruption has captured the attention of Indians like no other movement in recent history. People of diverse backgrounds have found a rallying point in this movement to express their protest against the increasing number of scams that are being exposed. Many of the leading political figures have been exposed in scams of huge proportions and current govt lack of action has infuriated the villages, cities and even diaspora globally. It is also dubbed as Indias version of the Arab Spring. It really caught fire when millions gathered in India to support the protest fast by Anna Hazare, a social activist and 400 people gathered in Times Square on 9th April.
