You should always preach as if you are going to have to present your audio and video to a jury of unsaved, non sympathetic and more that likely, hostile jurors in order to convince them that you are innocent of any wrong doing. That means that your preaching should be truthful and non slanderous. Slander is calling someone a name without sufficient evidence. God told me that so and so was a ____ is not a defense that I would want my case to hang on before a skeptical jury. Just because I was reckless and carelessly shot my mouth off does not mean that I can blame God for it. It is way too easy to first ask someone if they are a _____ before you label them as such. Once the person admits to being a _____ then you will not be slandering them if you state that they are what they already admitted to being.
