You will never understand what someone is going through , why they believe something that they do , or why they are the way they are until youre willing to listen and understand Vs interrupt and dismiss ... And just because youve never had the same experiences doesnt make their experience any less real... And people are not meant to be programmed, not meant to be told what to think or believe or how to feel about something... Theyre supposed to find themselves and be themselves, and develop their own perception. A person should not be told that they should be more like someone else All the time, thats just saying that who they are isnt good enough , that they dont deserve to be loved and accepted.. That they have to be somebody else just to make you happy.. Do you really think that is going to help them become the person you want them to be... ? People need to learn to at least try to understand that which may be a little beyond their own line of thinking.. But to ever understand something that is completely foreign or new, you have to be willing to learn.. That right there is exactly what is wrong with this world. Most are Too consumed by pride to ever consider that anything other than. What they may believe or what they want, could ever possibly be right.. Pride is what blinds us from the truth. Being consumed by anything worldly is what blinds us from the truth... The 7 deadly sins: Pride, greed envy, lust , gluttony , wrath and sloth ...All the things that have already consumed this world, all the things that will lead to its destruction... Even more sad, is those that judge others for these things are more often than not just as guilty but too consumed by it that they cant even see it in themselves... pretty much the entire world... I mean look at it right now, begging for change, but god forbid they give up any possessions, pay more money or really do anything at all but complain... They wouldnt be wiling to give up the money system and bring true equality or communism even if it meant eradicating homelessness , famine, war etc... Because then they couldnt stand all tall with pride for being richer than their neighbors... When destruction comes ( and it will come) they will only have themselves to blame but they still wont see it instead blaming it on everybody else around them.... :(
