• Younis Habib had never taken the name of Sharif Brothers. It was Gen (Retd) Asad Durrani, rather than Younis Habib, who mentioned the name of Sharif Brothers in his affidavit submitted to the Supreme Court (on 24-07-1994). As a reward for putting the blame on PML, Gen (R) Asad Durrani was made Ambassador to Germany by Benazir Bhutto during her 2nd government (1993-96). Subsequently, General Musharraf made Asad Durrani as Ambassador to Saudi Arabia to further persecute the Sharif Brothers.
