Z2 Snare Head of choice: So many people ask me about my snare tone live and what I use to achieve it. First of all, I use a Pearl Reference Brass Snare, an Evans Hazy 500 Resonant head and the clincher for me is my Evans Hybrid Batter Head. I absolutely love this snare head. You get amazing tone from it, a shotgun attack, controlled resonance along with great sensitivity for ghost notes and dynamic playing. Its also great for blasting for those of you who are into it.
