a few ideas on how to improve TSA and airline check ins: * employ competent and compassionate employees * make separate lines for families/people with babies, strollers and wheelchairs * make lines in chronological departure times: example if the time is 7am, the cues should be for: 8/ 830/ 9 flts etc. *dont have columns or walls that break the flow of traffic *have ropes to determine where cues start *have ambassadors to help with checks-ins *use conveyor belts that are continuos to people dont have to keep shoving their belonging down the belt *make the trays ATTACHED to the belt (if I remember, i think Graz, Austria had this!) *DONT use only ONE X-ray machine, when you have 5 or more to use (yeah- NJ!!!!) this gives a priority to serve those leaving soonest. nothing is more nerve wracking than knowing your flight is boarding, youve been in line for nearly 1.5 hours and no one will help out those whose flights are leaving soon.
